National Night Out will happen for the 31st time on Tuesday, August 5th. Over 16,000 communities nationwide participate in this program, which seeks to raise awareness of crime, and encourage people to observe and report crime. In many cities, including my own, there will be events that enable citizens to meet and connect with their neighbors. If my schedule works in my favor, I look forward to meeting some fellow Everett-ites.
